This position is based in Warsaw, Poland.
The area: Partnerships
There's always more information out there, and our Partnerships team works to get it. We develop relationships with a range of organizations, from content providers to publishers, and find ways for them to reach their audiences and manage their digital businesses. We find great content for our products, and we also work with partner sites to syndicate our own Google products. From negotiating agreements to solving technical problems for partners, we're in pursuit of gathering the world's information.
The role: Strategic Partner Manager
You will be assisting in complex negotiations and executing somenegotiations and contracts on your own. You will also be in charge ofmanaging all post-sales partner activities across key verticals andrepresenting Google's user, product, and program interests to the partner.Responsibilities include assisting in delivering new and renewal contracts,launching new partnerships, forecasting and reporting revenue and other keymetrics, tracking actual progress toward forecasts, driving new businessopportunities, and ensuring prompt and proper resolution of business andtechnical issues with the partner. This role combines a need for bothoperational and partner management skills as well sales and businessacumen. It provides an exciting opportunity for anyone who wants to applyand hone business skills (e.g. business development, marketing, strategy,and analytics) and be exposed to multiple functional disciplines (e.g.product management, engineering, legal, operations).
Responsibilities:
* Analyse industry and partner metrics and present quality presentations to support partner management activities.
* Support implementation and optimisation activities and ensure correct implementation complies with policy.
* Persuade client and internal departments to implement timely new partner contracts and/or optimisations/upsell to maximise revenue.
* Understand product in order to drive implementation and suggest improvements.
* Negotiate deals with partners independently or in collaboration with wider partnerships team.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree. In lieu of degree, relevant skills or equivalent experience.
* Experience building partner channels.
* Business development experience negotiating complex media or Internet deals.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational skills.
* Excellent writen and verbal communication and presentation skills.
* Fluency in written and spoken English and Polish.
