On behalf of Sony Pictures Global Business Services in Gdynia, Poland, we are currently recruiting for the position of ROYALTIES ACCOUNTANT - FRENCH who will contribute to the achievement of quality and performance standards of Royalties, General Accounting and Control.
ROYALTIES ACCOUNTANT - FRENCH
GDYNIA, POLAND

Duties and Responsibilities:
Calculate and generate Royalty accruals / postings
Prepare Royalties statements
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of the P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow under the supervision of the Financial Controller / Finance Director
Validate automatic General Ledger (GL) postings
Prepare manual GL postings
Prepare corrections and adjustments as appropriate
Complete reconciliations of Balance Sheet items and interfaces as appropriate
Ensure compliance with SOX requirements
Execute general accounting period-end routines
Determine accruals and prepayments
Prepare data and analysis as required for Monthly Finance Packs
Prepare other management reports and analyses as required as well as draft statutory accounts in accordance with local GAAP (IFS) requirements
Skills & Experience Required:
2 years experience of working within Accounting function, including typically 12 months in Royalties
Good working knowledge of SAP Financials
Experience of working in a shared services environment
Appreciation of local regulatory requirements (GAAP and IFRS)
Ability to effectively communicate and operate in an international environment
Flexibility with duties and scope of work
Language Skills:
Business English language skills (oral and written)
Ability to fluently communicate in French
Working knowledge of Polish is an advantage but is not necessary
