Requirements:
• Experience in UNIX administration
• Good spoken and written German language
Main activities:
Systems administration and support
• As expert support and train all team members, improve knowledge database, write and update procedures and documentation,
• Solve complex problems and propose improvements within functioning of Unix O/S
• Defining and implementing technical changes (installation, parameter setting, configuration and integration),
• Planning, defining, implementing and inspecting activities related to the following domains:
• Homogenization of Unix platform,
• Develop new tools in order to automate recurrent tasks and improve our quality (scripting in SHELL, Perl, AWK),
• Taking part in “capacity planning”
• Defining system logical access controls and security solutions (logical security/antivirus/encryption),
• Controlling violations of access to networks/systems/applications and applying standards by audits,
• Conducting “tuning”: evaluating system performance, predicting saturations and forecasting workload build-ups.
Deployment
• Implementing deployment engineering,
• Specifying methods, techniques, tools, installation procedures, tests and operating procedures for mass changes of existing infrastructures,
• Planning operation with users and corporate services,
• Support all technician and administrators involved on requests and incidents management,
• Resolving deployment complex incidents
